Author: Scott Wolter
Description: The Hooked X is a secret symbol first found on an inscribed slab of rock, dated 1362, unearthed by a farmer in Minnesota in 1898. This mysterious symbol inspired the author to pursue a nine-year investigation on both sides of the Atlantic that led to the discovery of other artifacts and clandestine documents indicative of secret trips to North America long before Columbus. The trail of evidence led to a deep plunge into the shadowy areas of Freemasonry and Knights Templar that most brethren of these orders are unaware of. This incredible true story reveals untold secrets of North America that weave from medieval times through today, forever changing history as we know it.
Reviews:
"Wolter has left no stone unturned, and you will leave no page unturned in this thoroughly enjoyable and utterly convincing investigation."
–Steve St. Clair, director of the Sinclair DNA Project
"This work cements Scott Wolter's status as the world's leading expert on pre-Columbian exploration of North America. The Hooked X will change the way history is taught in our classrooms."
–David S. Brody, Boston Globe bestselling author of Cabal of the Westford Knight
"A real 'tour de force' as far as research into early European incursions into North America is concerned. Careful examination, consummate professionalism and approachability make his books a joy to read. Wolter always brings something new and exciting to the feast and The Hooked X has me hooked for sure."
–Alan Butler, author of Civilization One and The Goddess, the Grail and the Lodge
"Yet another example of Scott's willingness to look and think outside the box and let the evidence and information lead him. The Kensington Rune Stone is just one piece of a large puzzle and the pieces are coming together."
–Darwin Ohman, grandson of Olof Ohman, who discovered the Kensington Rune Stone in 1898
