Reviews:
"Guthema's poetic creations flow with such ease and love that you can feel their vital power in quenching the thirst of the human heart. Each word is destined to dissolve any remaining limitations of language and reveal the Pure Light of BEING." –Cezarina Trone: visionary life—wellness coach, mystical poet and Quantum Creativity Radio Show Host (www.cezarinatrone.com)
"As a college instructor in World Religions, I appreciate the deep unity of wisdom underlying the diversity of cultures. That is why I constantly return to Guthema's poems. Deceptively simple, they distill the complexities of our quest into wondrous drops of nectar that quiet the restless mind, and awaken the song of the heart. His poems will resonate forever." –Alfred K. LaMotte, author of Wounded Bud: Poems for Meditation
"Guthema's poetry contains life itself and it enters straight into your heart as you read each verse that seems to dance within you. Every single verse is like a drop of magic that sinks in deeply and you will laugh and smile feeling the presence of God in them as well as in you. He is a master artist of creating words that dance in new and unique ways with one another in brilliant form and flow so effortlessly off of the page as they drop right into your soul." –Barbara Jean, author of A Soul's Rejoicing
"Guthema is guiding you to the Heart through a passionate dance of words full of sweetness, tenderness and warmth. He will not let you down and his comforting presence will embrace you as you walk in your life. This book is a wake up call to open the heart at any time. Take his hand now and let the poetry flow into your soul." –Helene Averous, author of Silent Drops
About the Author: Guthema Roba immigrated to the US in 2001 from Ethiopia and started working for the Hennepin County library. Over the last ten years, his writing has shifted intensely from outside towards the heart. Disguised as daybreak, poems knock on his chest every day. “My task is to get up and open the door. It is that easy and effortless,” he says. “The world is already starving for love and light and poetry like this,” he adds. He no longer identifies himself as a poet or a writer of any kind. “I am just a space through which the milk of poetry moves.” He lives in Minneapolis with his wife and daughter.
